MJ, when talking about the character, said, ” He’s my favorite, and I’m excited to capture what the fans are excited about seeing, but also [answer the question of]: ‘How does he exist in the world we’ve set up?'”

He continued to add, “I think there’s just going to be a lot of fun with him — what kind of character he is in this world, and how does he interact with people like Sweet Tooth?”

Audience Reception

The first season of Twisted Metal did better than expected and quickly became a hit. The series garnered 400 million viewing minutes during its opening weekend.

The balanced blend of dark humor, high-octane action, and character-driven storytelling made the series relatable for audiences. Twisted Metal isn’t the only series getting a second season.
