Daniel Cerone has been appointed as a new showrunner and executive producer for season 4 of The Cleaning Lady. The news of his appointment came in July 2024.
Daniel Cerone is well-known for his work on acclaimed series such as Dexter and The Blacklist. He has taken over from Miranda Kwok.

Principal photography for Season 4 of The Cleaning Lady began in October 2024. The chosen locations were Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The production is expected to use local labor in New Mexico, giving the series a diverse look. New Mexico’s diverse landscapes and qualified production facilities have made the place an ideal location for the series.

Elodie Yung reprises her role as Thony De La Rosa. Thony is a Cambodian-Filipino former surgeon who immigrated to the United States.
Thony came to the U.S. for her son Luca’s medical treatment. Because Thony’s identity is undocumented, she’s unable to find work and ends up working as a cleaning lady in Las Vegas.

Martha Millan returns as Fiona De La Rosa, Thony’s sister-in-law. Fiona plays a pivotal role in Thony’s life, offering her support.
Sean Lew and Faith Bryant also reprise their roles as Chris and Jaz. Chris is Fiona’s teenage son, while Jaz is Fiona’s young daughter whose innocence contrasts with the series’s overall theme.

Season 4 of The Cleaning Lady sees the addition of significant characters to its storyline. Daniel Bonjour has joined the cast as Dr. Sean Dupont.
Alain Uy will portray Feng, who’s an observant individual with a dangerous side. These new characters will add depth and complexity to the narrative.

The role of Luca De La Rosa has been recast. Luca De La Rosa is Thony’s youngest son.
The character was previously portrayed by twins Sebastien and Valentino LaSalle. The character, however, will now be played by newcomer Khalen Roman Sanchez to better reflect the character’s development and evolving narrative of the series.

The entertainment industry lost the legendary Adan Canto in January 2024. Adan portrayed Arman Morales in The Cleaning Lady.
Canto passed away at the age of 42 after battling appendiceal cancer. Canto’s portrayal of Arman was pivotal to the show’s narrative, and The Cleaning Lady decided to write his character out of the series.

In season 4 of The Cleaning Lady, Thony De La Rosa ends up making a bold decision to reclaim her medical career. She joins a community hospital as a surgical intern.
This move offers her and Luca a potential pathway to citizenship. However, season 4 will showcase Rosa being haunted by her past, in particular, her entanglement with the Sin Cara cartel.

The new season will explore how Thony balances her new medical career while being involved with the Sin Cara cartel. Serving as a surgical intern at a community hospital, Rosa is supposed to care for underserved patients.
Rosa is also set to face challenges in obtaining citizenship. However, her strength and resilience will allow her to move forward despite it all.

The introduction of Jorge in season 3 has introduced fresh dynamics to the narrative. Jorge Sanchez played by none other than Santiago Cabrera will be getting more screen time in season 4.
His interactions with Thony De La Rosa will add complexity to the storyline. Cabrera is known for his role in Heroes and Star Trek: Picard.

In the season 3 finale of The Cleaning Lady, Nadia Morales meets a tragic end. Played by Eva De Dominici, Nadia Morales’s plan of escaping her challenging life is destroyed.
At the end of the season, she is confronted by the cartel leader, Ramona Sanchez, who kills her. Hence, Eva De Dominici won’t be returning for a second season.

The Cleaning Lady without a doubt has an engaging narrative and a diverse cast. These are among the many reasons why the series is such a hit.
Elodie Yung’s portrayal of Rosa has been particularly lauded by critics. She has a knack for conveying her character’s resilience and complexity in a great manner.
