Season 3 of The Chelsea Detective is here, and fans should once again get ready for more suspense, unexpected twists, and intriguing character moments. From a high-profile murder in an allotment to a case following the word of climate science, the season is going to be a riveting one.

In the first season of Chelsea Detective, we’re introduced to Detective Inspector Max Arnold and Detective Priya Shamsie. Episode one, titled The Wages of Sin, follows the mysterious death of stonemason Andrew Knightley.
The first season also shines a light on the evolving relationship between the two detectives. The debut season did a great job of intertwining the murder mysteries along with the personal journeys of its central characters.

In season 2 of The Chelsea Detective, viewers are introduced to Detective Sergeant Layla Walsh. Layla is portrayed by none other than Vanessa Emme.
Layla brings a fresh perspective to the team and has a no-nonsense demeanor with a strong moral compass. She speaks her mind and isn’t afraid to be upfront in her questioning, adding a unique dynamic to the narrative.

Acorn TV officially confirmed the renewal of The Chelsea Detective in November 2023 for a third season. The third season was introduced with a special Christmas episode titled Everyone Loves Chloe.
The episode premiered on December 16, 2024. Following the Christmas special, the remaining three episodes of season 3 are set to premiere starting April 7, 2025.

Filming for season 3 of The Chelsea Detective began in London in the spring of 2024. Primary filming locations include Bushy Park, which is filled with filming trucks, catering facilities, and prop vehicles.
Consistent with previous seasons, most of the filming took place in various parts of Chelsea and its surrounding areas. Locations such as King’s Road, Earl’s Court, and Brompton Cemetery were utilized in previous seasons, and the same is expected from the third one.

The Christmas Special was 90 minutes. This feature-length episode revolved around the mysterious death of Chloe Carmichael.
Chloe was a former pop star well-known for her early 2000s holiday hit Nobody Wants To Be Alone At Christmas. The episode received favorable reviews, with critics praising the episode for its engaging plot and character development.

The upcoming episodes will be available on Acorn TV, and new installments will be released weekly. The second episode will be released on April 7, with the third one scheduled for April 14 and the finale episode premiering on April 21.
Season 3 is going to follow engaging narratives. These will include the discovery of an ex-soldier’s body, the brutal murder of an antiques dealer, and the death of a climate scientist.

Well-known actress Alex Kingston will be making a notable appearance in season 3 of The Chelsea Detective. She’ll be playing the character of US Ambassador Emily Morgan.
Kingston is known for her roles in Doctor Who and ER. Her involvement is bound to bring a fresh dynamic to the series.

For the Greater Good will follow DI Max Arnold and Detective Layla Walsh investigating the death of a climate scientist. The case will shed light on the intricate world of environmental activism, corporate interests, and ethical dilemmas.
