Rascal Flatts recently joined Broadway in the studio and after talking about the obligatory talking points such as their recent plane trouble (FYI, they now call their plane Sticky Flap) and their upcoming album "Rewind"(out June 3) that they are still currently working on, the boys got into the juicier stuff such as when Eric Church got kicked off their tour. The subject came up because of Taylor Swift mentioning it recently

After Broadway asked them if Eric being asked to leave the tour had to do with unions and fines and things like that, they agreed that that was all it was. They then went into the story a bit more.

Billy Ray Cyrus duet with Dionne Warwick revealed

Just a couple of days ago, I revealed that Billy Ray Cyrus had recorded a duet with singing legend Dionne Warwick. She even appeared in his Seriously Cyrus episode last Sunday. 

Yesterday, that duet was revealed by USA Today. 

Hope Is Just Ahead is the new song featuring Cyrus and Warwick. Recorded at Jamie Foxx’s studio in Los Angeles, the single will impact radio on Monday, February 3, 2014, with a portion of the proceeds from song sales being donated to Do The Write Thing-National Campaign to Stop Violence

Sara Evans isn’t happy with the Alabama school system

This week has been a bad one for pretty much everyone towards the Eastern side of the US what with Atlanta looking like a scene out of the Walking Dead and Polar Vortex 2.0.

After many people, including young children, got stranded in schools, on highways, and in stores for hours and hours this week due to snow and ice, Sara Evans had a few choice words for those in charge of snow days at the schools.

Kenny Rogers receives honorary degree from Professional Photographers of America

Just three months ago, American icon Kenny Rogers was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. And now, last week in Phoenix, he picked up another career achievement, but this time it’s in recognition of his other talent and passion—photography.
 
Rogers received an honorary master of photography degree from Professional Photographers of America (PPA) at its annual conference, Imaging USA, during the PPA Award & Degree ceremony, last Tuesday night, Jan. 14, at Symphony Hall in Phoenix, where more than 145 award and degree recipients were honored. Prior to the ceremony, he gave an exclusive live Q&A with convention-goers, discussing his life and work.  Rogers also shared photos from his forthcoming photography book, Places I’ve Been, Things I’ve Seen
