Brad Paisley was cutting it close there for a while with his tour name. Problem was he didn't have a name picked out and his tour starts tomorrow, May 16. Well crisis averted because today he announced that his tour finally has a moniker.
Hey, hey, hey, looks like Crystal Light finally got smart.
For years now, Miranda Lambert has been promoting Crystal Light via her favorite drink, the Mirandarita (White rum, sugar-free pink lemonade or raspberry Crystal Light mix, diet lemon-lime soda, water, ice).
I mean the girl has been selling it big time. If you Google Mirandarita there are no less than 18,800 entries.
18,800!
I even mentioned clear back in 2012 that Crystal Light should put Miranda on the payroll.
Now they finally have. Well sort of.
Today, Miranda announced her new Platinum Tour sponsored by Crystal Light that will hit the road this summer.
“Platinum represents a lifestyle for me,” Miranda said. “It’s the color of my hair, my wedding ring, my airstream trailer, so it’s just a natural fit for the name of my new album and it’s why we decided to name the tour Platinum too,” said Miranda.
Her upcoming album, also called Platinum, will be released June 3. Fans can pre-order the album now from iTunes and Amazon.
Update: I've posted the full album cover now.
Jennifer Nettles' new solo album, "That Girl," is set to be released on January 14 and now she's revealing her album cover in puzzle form. Above is what the album cover looks like at the moment, and so it should be completely revealed by tomorrow or the next day I'd think.
Speaking with the AP recently, Jennifer called the album intimate and more mature.
"I'm able to show a side that I think's more womanly," Nettles said. "I think it's more mature, and so that's big for me. I think it gives you perspective all around, not just musically but also in my career. I think you get superefficient because you have to be. You don't worry about things that were superimportant before because you have a baby and you just burn that underbrush out. You feel like a huntress."
Jennifer will also be embarking on a solo tour to support the new release.
Taylor Swift is one hot commodity and when she goes anywhere in public the cameras automatically come out. Come on, even if you don't like Taylor I bet you'd be whipping out your cell phone to snap a picture if you seen her walking down the street. So why in the world would her bodyguards yell at anyone trying to take a picture of their famous client?
