Well shoot. For the second time this year I've received a press release about a country singer's child passing away. This should never happen to a parent (never, never, never), so my heart truly goes out to Eddie Montgomery (Montgomery Gentry) on the passing of his son Hunter.
As I mentioned earlier, Lynn Anderson passed away last night at the age of 67. Despite being saddened by her death, I'm really not very good at summing up people's lives in a tidy little package. That said, here's the full press release I received in my inbox a few moments ago announcing Lynn's passing for those who like to know less about the death and more about the life of great singers from the past.
I'm sad to report that country music has lost another legendary voice with the passing of Lynn Anderson last night at a Nashville area hospital. She was 67.
