Press release:

With an astonishing recording career that now spans over seven decades, you
would think music legend Kenny Rogers had already accomplished
it all.  However, you’d be wrong.

Rogers returns with You Can’t Make
Old Friends
on October 8th via Warner Bros. Records, proving – once again –
that he still has plenty to say.  The album reunites Rogers with long-time
friend and collaborator, Dolly Parton, for a brand new duet on
the title track, “You Can’t Make Old Friends.”  It was thirty years ago almost
to the day when Kenny and Dolly released “Islands In The Stream,” which went on
to become an instant classic and one of the most successful singles by a duo in
history.

“What a thrill it was for me to work again with my buddy,
Dolly Parton, and what a special song,” remarked Rogers.  “Working with Dolly is
always a little like going home.  Everything felt comfortable.”

As a waitress at Nashville's Stoney River Steakhouse® prior to landing her first record deal, Sarah Darling waited on country superstar Alan Jackson, dreaming what it might be like if she could one day share the stage with him. This past weekend, she celebrated that milestone, opening back-to-back shows for Jackson in Boise, Idaho, Salt Lake City, Utah and Arlington, Wash. (August 9, 10, and 11). Calling the experience "beyond amazing" on Twitter, Darling adds, "I was blessed to have been on tour with one of the most humble and gracious men in the music business this weekend. What an unforgettable experience. Thank you Alan!"

This Saturday, Darling will make her forty-first appearance at the Grand Ole Opry prior to performing as part of Southern Living's "Biscuits & Jam" concert series presented by AT&T U-verse at The Woods at Fontanel on Sunday. Then she'll head to New York City for the national television debut of her latest summertime hit "Little Umbrellas" on FOX & Friends Saturday, August 24.

comes on the heels of the hit single and his Atlantic Records’ self-titled debut
album (ENCORE) both being certified platinum by the
RIAA in the same week. Hunter also entertained fans this weekend at the Montana
Fair with critics noting “From the moment Hayes slid across the stage in his
white T-shirt, skinny jeans and sneakers, Rimrock Auto Arena was filled with
young female voices screaming,” (Jaci Webb, Billings Gazette) and a
