Well now this isn't what I was expecting from Eric Church. Eric debuted a new single today called Give Me Back My Hometown and thanks to my friends over at Country 92.5, we have it for you to check out.
Iconic singer, songwriter, musician, actress and philanthropist Dolly Parton is proud to announce her latest recording endeavor, a partnership between her own label Dolly Records and Sony Masterworks. The label deal will launch her new album Blue Smoke in New Zealand/Australia on January 31, 2014, to coincide with her international Blue Smoke World Tour which will hit New Zealand, Australia in February. In addition, Blue Smoke will be released in the United States and Europe in May 2014, in advance of the Blue Smoke World Tour hitting England, Ireland, Scotland, Denmark, Germany, Norway and Sweden.
At this point, I'm not really sure what ultimate reveal Eric Church is leading us to with all these mystery videos of his. Are they clues about his new album?…
Oops! Dierks Bentley got an awesome end-of-tour gift from Miranda Lambert that he promptly got stuck in a tree. Then like any good celebrity these days, he tweeted about it. …
Kacey Musgraves has finally broken her silence on what was going through her mind the night of the CMA Awards when she gave Miranda Lambert that look after Miranda had won the Female Vocalist category, an award both ladies were up for.
You know the look.
Kacey recently spoke with Rolling Stone and says the look didn't mean anything and she's just not used to this whole camera thing yet.
“As a new artist, I’m still getting used to cameras being on me 24/7,” Musgraves explains. “And there’s no way you can be caught smiling at all times. If you know me, sometimes when I’m just sitting there, it looks like I’m not having a good time, but I am!"
Seriously, sometimes the headlines just write themselves. After award shows air I always get these random pictures, stories, red carpet moments, announcements, etc. This is one of those random shots.…
As everyone is acutely aware of (I'm sure), Kacey Musgraves didn't exactly look happy during Wednesday's CMA Awards (I originally said Sunday. Oops) when Miranda Lambert won the Female Vocalist category.
I've been reading all the comments people are making on Facebook, Twitter, and on NashvilleGab and so far there's been no explanation, apology, excuses, or anything else coming from Kacey's Korner, which I think is fine. I'm still of the opinion that Kacey was just disappointed more than anything.
Or at least I was until today.
Now, however, it has come to my attention that what happened on Sunday may not have been sadness, anger, disappointment, snottiness, bad camera timing or just a bad day, as many have suggested (and no, for the one person who suggested it, I don't think Kacey's a stone-cold killer either) – no, there's actually a very simple explanation.
If there's one thing you can say about Taylor Swift it's that she really loves her fans. She also, however, appears to be a little naive when it comes to…
On Sunday night, Kacey Musgraves performed her new single Follow Your Arrow at the CMA Awards. At one point (actually three, but who's counting?) in the song her mic goes…

Kacey Musgraves' disappointed face at last night's CMA Awards has been the talk of the morning, but there were other faces that deserve a second look too.
First, there was George Strait who looked like he wanted to be anywhere but on the stage last night during Taylor Swift's Pinnacle Award acceptance (video).
Then there were the faces during Brad and Carrie's Obamacare joke.
We all know that winning a big award at a show such as the CMAs will do wonders for your career, but Amazon has put the numbers together to show what winning an award will do for your album sales in just a 24-hour period of time.
