    Military Career

The preliminary years of his music career saw him struggling through hard times as recording songs for less popular labels could not support his family, which included his then-wife and daughter and he had to do odd jobs to provide for them.

The rise in his career occurred when he wrote and sang the song, ‘Me and Bobby McGee’ enabling him to attain fame and the attention of the popular star, Johnny Cash.

At its inception in the 1800s, the ranch started as a dairy farm and even to this day, still includes some of the older structures, inclusive of the original roadhouse and barn.

Apart from the vacation house Kristofferson and his wife often inhabited, the property comprises a cool 1900-square-foot ranch house, a dairy barn, and a feed barn.

The sweeping property also includes a huge 300 acres of open pasture coupled with an additional 250 acres of forestland.

Given the lucrative prospect of this magnanimous property, it can prove to be highly profitable for the next buyer.
