Returning as Mindy Meeks-Martin is Jasmin Savoy Brown. She is the witty horror specialist and Randy Meeks’s niece. Mindy is now the franchise’s resident horror enthusiast. Her remark on the “rules” of survival in the Scream universe is self-aware.
Brown is well-known outside of Scream for her outstanding performance in Yellowjackets on Showtime. Mindy’s intelligence and familiarity with the genre make her an essential character. She guides the group through Ghostface’s most recent murder rampage’s new regulations.

Joel McHale is a comedy actor who plays Mark Evans in Scream 7. He is the spouse of Sidney Prescott. This is the first time fans will see Mark on television, despite a quick reference to his role in Scream 5.
McHale expressed his excitement about joining the franchise in an Instagram post following the casting announcement. It’s difficult to tell whether Mark is just another target or if he has any secrets of his own given McHale’s skill at fusing comedy and drama.

After multiple delays, Scream 7 officially began filming in January 2025, in Atlanta. The production process faced several hurdles due to changes in cast and direction but with the pieces finally in place, the film is moving forward.
The highly anticipated horror sequel is set to hit theaters on February 27, 2026, giving the filmmakers ample time to refine the story and deliver a well-crafted experience for fans.
