Guess what? The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen is back. Daredevil: Born Again has brought Matt Murdock back into action, but he’s not alone this time.
Fans of the original Daredevil series will be more than thrilled to see the return of iconic characters. New cast members, along with surprising recasts, have made the series the most anticipated one.

In Daredevil: Born Again, Charlie Cox will be reprising his role as Matt Murdock, the Daredevil. According to Cox, the series will maintain a dark tone.
However, it should be noted that it won’t be as “scary” or “gory” as its predecessors. This makes sure that the series appeals to a broader audience.

Vincent D’Onofrio returns as Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin, in Daredevil: Born Again. In the series, Fisk is going to take on the position of Mayor of New York City.
This will make it easier for him to mix his political endeavors and criminal workings. The new series is also going to explore Fisk’s psychological evolution.

Fans are over the moon about Jon Bernthal’s return as Frank Castle, also known as the Punisher. Bernthal first took over the job of portraying this character in the second season of Netflix’s Daredevil series.
This led to him having his spinoff, The Punisher, which aired for two seasons from 2017 to 2019. In the upcoming series, Punisher is expected to make a re-entry into the complex world of Hell’s Kitchen.

Deborah Ann Woll will be returning as Karen Page in Daredevil: Born Again. In this new chapter, Karen is set to face new challenges.
One of the most notable ones includes the death of her close friend and colleague, Foggy Nelson. Woll has expressed excitement over returning to the series.

Spoiler alert! Elden Henson’s character, Foggy Nelson, did make a comeback as Matt Murdock’s loyal friend and law partner.
However, in a shocking turn of events, Foggy is tragically killed by Bullseye in the premiere episode of the new series. However, it should be noted that Elden will be making a return in season 2.

Originally portrayed by Ayelet Zurer, the character of Vaness Fisk was initially recast with Sandrine Holt. However, due to industry strikes and other challenges, Zurer took over the role once again.
Ayelet Zurer taking over the role once again makes sure that Marvel is on the right track with its original series. Fans have expressed their enthusiasm over Zurer’s return.

Wilson Bethel is all set to reprise his role as Benjamin Poindexter, famously known as Bullseye, in Daredevil: Born Again. The third season of the original series highly benefited from Bethel’s portrayal.
In Born Again, Bethel is expected to bring an unhinged nature to her character. She has expressed a desire to “out crazy” previous portrayals.

The second episode of Daredevil: Born Again pays homage to late Kamar de los Reyes. Kamar de los Reyes portrayed the character of Hector Ayala.
Hector also went by the name of White Tiger. It should be noted that Ayala is Marvel’s first Latino superhero, who got his abilities from mystical jade tiger amulets.

Played by Margarita Levieva, Heather Glenn marks the character’s live-action debut in the MCU. In the series, Heather is all set to play a significant role in Matt’s personal and professional life.
According to the comics, Heather is a wealthy socialite who becomes romantically involved with Matt Murdock. Levieva, known for her work in The Deuce and Revenge, is perfect for the role.

A significant character in Matt Murdock’s life, Nikki M. James, played Kirsten McDuffie in Daredevil: Born Again. McDuffie will be a former Assistant District Attorney who joins Matt Murdock’s new law firm.
Nikki M. James is a Tony Award-winning actress. Kirsten’s resilience, intelligence, and complexity can be captured by none other than Nikki herself.

Michael Gandolfini is portraying the character of Daniel Blake. Daniel Blake is a young political figure who knows the ins and outs of Kingpin’s mayoral campaign.
Blake is shown to have an unwavering dedication to the campaign in the first episode of the series. Michael is expected to do a great job at capturing his character’s idealism and potential moral challenges it’ll face.

Arty Froushan has taken over the role of Buck Cashman. In the comic, Cashman operates under the alias Bullet.
In the adaptation, however, Cashman is introduced as a member of Wilson Fisk’s mayoral campaign team. Froushan’s portrayal of Cashman offers a fresh perspective on the character, giving the narrative an intriguing element.

In Daredevil: Born Again, Clark Johnson filled the shoes of Cherry’s character. Cherry is a retired New York City police officer who collaborated with Matt Murdock (Daredevil).
Johnson is well-known for his work in The Wire and Evil, bringing authenticity to Cherry. He’s more than perfect for giving the character a streetwise demeanor.

A character made up specifically for the series, Sheila Rivera’s character, is going to be portrayed by Zabryna Guevara. Sheila is going to be directly involved in Fisk’s administration.
She’ll be interacting with the key figures in the series, shaping the narrative as it unfolds. Talking about heroes, there are some underrated Marvel heroes you should know about.

Daredevil: Born Again is a Disney+ series that continues the story of Matt Murdock. Matt is a blind lawyer who fights crime as Daredevil.
The first season will consist of nine episodes, with the first two premiered on March 4, 2025. This series is part of Phase Five of the MCU.
