As news of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ legal troubles takes over headlines, an unexpected figure has been dragged into the spotlight—Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
A photo of DiCaprio attending one of Combs’ infamous “White Parties” from the late 90s recently resurfaced, igniting curiosity about the actor’s connection to the disgraced music mogul.
However, sources close to DiCaprio have firmly stated that the actor has had no association with Combs for years and is entirely uninvolved in the troubling allegations surrounding the rapper.

Combs’ annual “White Parties” were a major highlight in the 1990s and early 2000s.
These lavish events, held at his East Hampton mansion, were famous for their star-studded guest lists and extravagant displays of wealth.
A-listers such as Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, and Mariah Carey were regulars at these opulent gatherings.
In 1998, Leonardo DiCaprio—then a rising star fresh off his iconic role in Titanic—was photographed at one of these gatherings, dressed casually in a white t-shirt and shorts.
At the time, the party was nothing more than a glittering social event for celebrities.
Combs even declared that DiCaprio was the “number one person” on his invitation list, solidifying the actor’s status among the Hollywood elite.
Despite this, DiCaprio’s presence at these events has recently come under scrutiny as Combs faces a series of serious criminal charges.
Combs, 54, was recently arrested on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and coercing women into elaborate sexual performances—termed “freak offs”—that allegedly occurred at some of his parties.
The indictment includes disturbing claims that women were forced into sexual acts, often so intense that some needed medical attention, including IV drips, afterward. Investigators reportedly found thousands of bottles of baby oil at his properties, heightening the grotesque nature of the accusations.
Combs’ arrest has brought his past behavior under intense scrutiny.
The rapper pleaded not guilty to the charges during a Manhattan court appearance in mid-September, but the case has caused shockwaves throughout the entertainment world.
With his name suddenly dragged into this scandal due to the resurfacing of the 1998 photo, DiCaprio has swiftly distanced himself from Combs.
Sources close to the actor, now 49, stress that he hasn’t been in contact with Combs for years and has absolutely no involvement in the alleged crimes.
One insider stated, “Leonardo DiCaprio has absolutely nothing to do with any of this. He attended a few of Combs’ parties back in the early 2000s—just like everyone else did—but those were nothing more than large social gatherings.”
The source emphasized that the actor’s association with Combs was limited to the early days of his career.
The two men haven’t been seen together publicly since a brief encounter at the 2004 Democratic National Convention.
DiCaprio was also spotted dancing at Combs’ 50th birthday in 2019, but sources confirm that they have had no sustained relationship in recent years.
Those close to DiCaprio are quick to point out that the star has never been involved in any of the alleged debauchery surrounding Combs’ “freak off” parties.
“The parties Leo attended were far from the rumored events tied to these criminal allegations. He was at the start of his career and quickly moved on from that lifestyle,” the source said.
Indeed, DiCaprio’s focus in recent years has been firmly on his career and humanitarian work.
Known for his environmental activism and significant contributions to climate change awareness, the actor has cultivated an image far removed from the party scene that characterized his younger years.
In response to the resurfaced photo, the source added, “For anyone to assume that Leonardo DiCaprio would be involved in this scandal simply because of a few old photos is absurd.
He’s not thinking about Diddy’s case at all—he’s focused on his work and his relationship.”
Combs’ “White Parties” have always held an air of mystery and exclusivity, attracting high-profile celebrities and socialites.
However, in light of the serious charges against Combs, these events are now being viewed through a more sinister lens.
Rumors about drug use and secretive sexual encounters have emerged, painting a darker picture of the gatherings that were once seen as glitzy celebrity affairs.
A former drug dealer, speaking anonymously, recalled witnessing shocking incidents at Combs’ East Hampton mansion, claiming to have seen A-list celebrities engaging in drug use and unexpected sexual activity.
He recounted a particular instance where Combs, clad in nothing but a robe, facilitated a cocaine deal in a back room during one of these parties.
The dealer also noted that attendees, including prominent female celebrities, were often under the influence of powerful substances like ketamine and GHB.
Despite these unsettling revelations, there is no indication that DiCaprio or other high-profile guests were aware of or involved in these activities.
Prosecutors have not implicated any of the celebrities who attended Combs’ parties in connection with the criminal charges.
