Lenny Hochstein and Katharina Mazepa End Engagement

Dr. Lenny Hochstein and his fiancée, Austrian model Katharina Mazepa, have called off their engagement just a year after their intense romance led to a proposal in Ibiza, Spain. 

The Miami-based plastic surgeon broke the news, saying, “We recently ended our engagement. I have decided to move forward with my life.”

Despite the breakup, Hochstein, 58, was full of kind words for Mazepa, 29, and her family.

“I have nothing but love and admiration for Katharina and her family,” he said, adding that he’s “proud of her growth as a woman” and will always cherish the time they spent together.

A Respectful and Mutual Split

Mazepa shared a similar sentiment, explaining that the decision to part ways was mutual and respectful. 

“While we both cherished our time together, we have decided to move forward independently,” she said.

“I have nothing but gratitude for the beautiful two years we spent together, and I will keep our treasured memories close to my heart forever.” 

She wished Hochstein and his family nothing but the best.

Social Media Sparks Speculation

Rumors about their split started swirling when Mazepa posted a video on her Instagram Story. 

In the clip, she was without her engagement ring and appeared to be getting cozy with a blond mystery man on a boat. 

The caption read, “You jump I jump. They say all we need in life might just be a little… push 😇.”

However, sources quickly clarified that the video had nothing to do with the breakup and that there wasn’t actually a kiss between Mazepa and the man in the footage.

From a Fairytale Proposal to a Public Breakup

Lenny Hochstein popped the question to Mazepa in July 2023, just a year after they began dating, and while he was still legally married to “Real Housewives of Miami” star Lisa Hochstein. 

The proposal was a romantic affair, set against the breathtaking backdrop of a sunset over Es Vedrá in Ibiza. 

Mazepa had shared her excitement on Instagram, writing, “On top of an ancient pirate cave, overlooking the sunset over breathtaking Es Vedrá, he asked to steal me away forever.”

Hochstein filed for divorce from Lisa in May 2022 after 12 years of marriage.

Throughout their split, Lisa has accused Lenny of having an affair with Mazepa, claims that Lenny has always denied.
