On Thursday, August 8, 2024, country music fans in Las Vegas had a memorable night.
Morgan Wallen and Jelly Roll, two big stars in country music, shared the stage during Wallen’s One Night at a Time Tour.
The crowd was thrilled to see them perform together, and the energy in the arena was electric.
One of the highlights of the night was when Jelly Roll joined Morgan Wallen to sing “Cowgirls.”
This song is one of Wallen’s hits, and on the original recording, Wallen sings it with his friend Ernest.
But since Ernest couldn’t be there for the Las Vegas show, Jelly Roll stepped in.
Jelly Roll sang the second verse of the song, and then Wallen and the crowd joined in for the chorus.
The audience loved seeing Jelly Roll on stage with Wallen, and it made the night even more special.
Jelly Roll, Morgan Wallen, and Ernest are all good friends, not just on stage but in real life too.
Fans might remember that Ernest helped write Jelly Roll’s first big country radio hit, “Son of a Sinner.”
This close connection between the artists made Jelly Roll’s performance of “Cowgirls” even more meaningful.
The Las Vegas concert featured some special opening acts. Nate Smith and Ella Langley started the show, getting the crowd ready for the big performances to come.
For the next night’s show in Las Vegas, Jelly Roll will step aside, and Bailey Zimmerman will take over as the opening act.
“Cowgirls,” the song Jelly Roll and Wallen performed together, is currently one of the most popular songs on country radio, sitting in the Top 5 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.
The surprises didn’t stop there. Earlier in the night, Jelly Roll surprised everyone by bringing out another superstar—Machine Gun Kelly.
Together, they performed two songs: “Need a Favor” and “Lonely Road.” “Lonely Road” is a special song because it’s a new version of the classic “Country Roads” by John Denver.
The music video for this song even features Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie Xo.
The crowd went wild for this unexpected performance, and it was one of the most talked-about moments of the night.
Fans in the audience were quick to capture these exciting moments on their phones.
Videos of Jelly Roll and Machine Gun Kelly’s performance were soon shared all over social media.
One of the popular videos was posted by a Twitter account showing how thrilled fans were to see these stars on stage together.
On the second night of his Las Vegas show on August 9, 2024, Morgan Wallen made a memorable entrance.
He walked out on stage with sports legends Mike Tyson and Tom Brady, wearing Maxx Crosby’s Raiders shirt.
The surprise appearance of these icons added even more excitement to the concert, making it a night to remember for the fans.
For Morgan Wallen, the Las Vegas show was one of the last stops on the American leg of his One Thing at a Time Tour.
Friday night will be his final show in the United States before he heads overseas for some more concerts later this year.
Fans in other countries are excited to see him perform live soon.
Morgan Wallen began his “One Night At A Time” tour in April at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Since then, he has been performing across the United States. Now, the tour is going global, with stops in several countries in Europe.
Wallen will perform in Stockholm, Sweden, at Friends Arena on August 28, followed by a show at Oslo Spektrum in Norway on August 30.
On September 1, he will be at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark.
After that, Wallen will head to the Netherlands for a concert at Ziggo Dome on September 3, and then to Glasgow, UK, at OVO Hydro on September 5.
Finally, he will wrap up this part of the tour with two shows in Dublin, Ireland, at 3Arena on September 7 and 8.
This Las Vegas performance was a bit of a warm-up for Jelly Roll as he’s starting the Beautifully Broken tour shortly.
He’s been busy all summer, playing at fairs and festivals across the United States.
Later this month, he will start his own headlining tour, which fans are eagerly waiting for.
Jelly Roll’s Beautifully Broken Tour 2024 will feature multiple stops across the United States, including major cities and venues from Salt Lake City to North Charleston.
