Dancing With the Stars” Season 33: A New Cast Ready to Shine!

The dance floor is set, the sequins are ready, and “Dancing With the Stars” is gearing up for its 33rd season, returning to screens on September 17, 2024.

“This is kind of like a dream come true,” she admitted, laughing that her only dance experience was a single ballroom class in college.

She’s partnered with Sasha Farber and has vowed to put everything into her performances, saying, “Heartbreak is the best motivator for success. I’m out for blood. I’m ready!“

Also joining the cast is Brooks Nader, a 27-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model.

Brooks is ready to swap the runway for the dance floor, teaming up with Gleb Savchenko.

She’s excited to show a new side of herself, proving she has more than just a pretty face — she can dance too!

But perhaps the most surprising addition to this year’s lineup is Anna Delvey — yes, that Anna Delvey!

The 33-year-old con artist, who became famous for pretending to be a wealthy heiress and inspired the Netflix series Inventing Anna, is ready to show the world a different side of herself.

Paired with professional dancer Ezra Sosa, Anna joked on Good Morning America that she wants viewers to see “how good I am at the Cha-Cha.”

Stephen is partnering with Rylee Arnold and hopes to incorporate some of his gymnastics moves into his routines.

“I’m hoping to bring some flares, maybe a backflip or handstand,” he shared, admitting he’s nervous about dancing in front of a live audience.

“You never know what’s going to happen. We’re going to find out when we step on the ballroom floor!”

Ilona Maher, an Olympic rugby player, is also joining the competition.

At 28, Ilona is known for her fierce tackles and incredible strength on the rugby field.

She will dance with Alan Bersten and is excited, though she admits that learning new dance styles like the Cuban break will be a challenge.

“Rugby, I’m tackling and stiff-arming people. You put me out there and make me learn the Cuban break — what’s it called? It’s not normal,” she joked.

Hollywood Stars Ready to Dazzle

Hollywood is also well-represented this season. Eric Roberts, a 68-year-old movie star and brother of Julia Roberts, will be dancing with Britt Stewart.

Eric has been in the entertainment industry for decades, but dancing is a new frontier for him.

Meanwhile, Reginald VelJohnson, best known for his role in the classic TV show Family Matters, is ready to shake things up with his partner Emma Slater.

At 72, Reginald is one of the oldest contestants this season, but he’s confident he can keep up with the younger stars.

Phaedra Parks, the 50-year-old star from Real Housewives of Atlanta, will bring her signature sass and humor to the dance floor with pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy.

“Everybody knows I’m sassy, classy, and some of my friends are a wee bit trashy, but if you come for this mirror ball, it will get nasty,” Phaedra playfully warned.
