Robert Downey Jr.

Robert Downey Jr.’s iconic portrayal as Tony Stark in Iron Man made him a household name, yet he has yet to win an Oscar. His performances in Chaplin and Tropic Thunder showed his enormous range, yet he was not acknowledged with the award.

Despite being one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Downey Jr. has not received an Oscar but the movies he starred in did.

Bradley Cooper

Bradley Cooper has established himself in Hollywood with films like The Hangover and A Star Is Born. He has received nominations for multiple Oscars, including American Hustle, American Sniper, and Silver Linings Playbook. However, the elusive victory keeps slipping away.

Beyond acting, he’s also earned praise as a director and producer. His performance in Nightmare Alley might have flown under the radar, but the film received nods at the Oscars.

Elizabeth Olsen

One of the most gifted actors of this day is Michael B. Jordan. He was praised for his performances in Creed and Fruitvale Station but hasn’t been nominated for an Oscar yet.

Naomie Harris

Naomie Harris, who has appeared in over twenty feature films in under fifteen years, rose to fame after earning a Black Reel Award for Outstanding Breakthrough Performance for her portrayal of Selena in 28 Days Later.

You may also recall her work in Miami Vice, the Bond movies as Money Penny, and, most notably, her appearance in Moonlight.

Harris’s first Academy Award nomination came for this film. Her nomination was for Best Supporting Actress, and she was deserving of the award.

Jake Gyllenhaal

Jake Gyllenhaal hasn’t won an Oscar despite his incredible performances over the years. His roles in Nightcrawler and Brokeback Mountain are unforgettable, yet he has not been nominated.

Gyllenhaal’s ability to tackle a wide variety of roles makes him one of the best actors of his generation.

Saoirse Ronan

Saoirse Ronan has previously been nominated for four Oscars. She received her first nomination for Atonement when she was 13 years old, making her one of the youngest actors ever honored. She has not slowed down since.

She later earned Best Actress nominations for Brooklyn, Lady Bird, and Little Women. Audiences cannot help but root for her. As one of the brightest stars of this century, it seems only a matter of time before she wins an Oscar.

Zendaya

Zendaya has earned admiration for her powerful performances. From Euphoria to Spider-Man: No Way Home, she has shown her incredible range as an actress.

Her outstanding performance in Malcolm & Marie secured her status as one of Hollywood’s most gifted actors. However, her name has not appeared in the Oscar nominations, leaving fans eager to see her recognized for her talent.

Tessa Thompson

Tessa Thompson has shown her incredible range in films like Creed and Thor Ragnarok. Her performances in Sorry to Bother You and Annihilation proved her talent. She has not been nominated.

Thompson remains one of Hollywood’s most exciting talents. The Academy has yet to honor her with an Oscar nomination or maybe the Oscar itself.
