Police have opened an investigation after a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run crash in Madison late Sunday night, cited by www.casinoroar.com.
It happened on State Route 45 and Delaware Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Metro police said the 35-year-old male victim of Madison was struck by a vehicle and killed while he was attempting to cross State Route 45. He died on the scene.
A witness allegedly told police the vehicle may have been a 2009 silver Toyota Camry, and that the victim was possibly hit by a second vehicle, followed by a white tractor-trailer. Authorities said all three vehicles left the scene.
Alcohol was reportedly found at the crash site from the pedestrian, but police said toxicology testing will be conducted. Police stated that the crash happened outside of a marked crosswalk.
MNPD said they are waiting on the notification of the victim’s next of kin to release his identity.

Similarly, a fugitive wanted in Georgia was captured early Monday morning during a traffic stop along Interstate 65 in Nashville.
According to Metro Nashville police, officers observed Deltona Burleson, 23, commit a non-moving violation and initiated a stop on I-65 South at mile marker 94. During the stop, authorities reportedly learned Burleson had an outstanding felony warrant out of the state of Georgia.
The warrant was issued for violating probation in relation to evading police, possession of tools to commit a crime and shoplifting.
Burleson was taken into custody and is faced with a fugitive from justice charge in Davidson County, which was cited by users from https://www.bestcasinositesonline.com/.
Meanwhile, two men were shot during a drug deal in South Nashville Sunday evening.
Police say the shooting happened at 6:40 p.m..at the Stop 1 Express market, located in the 14900 block of Old Hickory Boulevard.
According to police, the two men wounded shot each other while meeting up for a marijuana deal. A 21-year-old was shot in the leg and a 26-year-old was shot in the torso.
Both are currently in the hospital being treated for their injuries.
