Wado Ichimonji is among the greatest 33 swords in One Piece and certainly worth mentioning. This is the longest-living katana of Roronoa Zoro, its wielder and tough enough to bear Dracula Mihawk’s Yoru – an ability that makes mincemeat of ships and icebergs with ease!
Because of the katana’s devastating power, Zoro is always striving to protect it from the hands of those who want to take it for themselves or worse, a pirate. The katana is a significant part of him not only because of its power but also because it once belonged to his childhood buddy Kuina.
- Sekki – Noragami
In Studio Bones’ one of the greatest anime “Noragami”, no weapon compares to a god’s regalia when fighting phantoms or other gods. The delivery god Yato’s latest regalia is Yukina who can transform into a katana when the name “Sekki” is called.
This katana is one of the sharpest and more elegant swords mentioned in this list. Because of Yukine’s loyalty to Yato, he later evolves into a blessed regalia that only a few Regalias have ever achieved.
- Zangetsu – Bleach
In the famous anime series “Bleach” Ichigo Kurosaki wields the Zanpakuto ‘’Zangetsu”. It resembles a giant chef’s knife in its initial form. But in Bankai form, it later appears as a long black katana with cross guards making a Manji.
