Songs to Help You Relax

Music is everywhere. It’s a universal force that unites us all, no matter what kind of mood we’re in.

There’s music for studying and music for partying. Music to listen to by yourself or music to play for all the world to hear. No matter what you need, there’s a song for that.

If you’re looking for some songs to soothe your mind and help you relax, there are plenty for that too. Read on for our favorite songs to help relax you.

Petit Biscuit – “Sunset Lover”

Electronic music is dominating the world right now, and even though we associate with dancing our butts off, there are plenty of relaxing electronic tracks as well.

This track from young rising star Petit Biscuit launched his career and 2015 and continues to lull us into happiness.

Emancipator – “Soon It Will Be Cold Enough To Build Fires”

Emancipator is the master of ambient chill music, and this song is one of his masterpieces. The easy tempo of electronic music is complimented by subtle strings, transporting the listener into a whole other world.

Bon Iver – “Holocene”

Electronic music wasn’t the first type of music made to relax, and it certainly isn’t the only one around today. There’s not much more relaxing than a soothing voice and an acoustic guitar.

Bon Iver is a master of both of these things, and “Holocene” is just one in a collection of beautiful relaxing songs from the indie singer-songwriter. “Skinny Love” may be his best known, but this track is certainly his most relaxing.

Leon Bridges – “Beyond”

If you like your relaxing music with a little bit of soul, Leon Bridges is right up your alley. “Beyond” features that beautiful acoustic guitar complemented by Leon Bridges’ incredible voice and just a little bit of tambourine for a finishing touch.

Nora En Pure – “Come With Me”

This might be surprising to you, but house music is one of the most relaxing genres of music. Its consistent beats per minute and oftentimes soothing reserved vocals can lull you to sleep quickly.

Nora En Pure is one of the leading artists in the relaxing deep house genre and “Come With Me” is one of her best.

Billie Eilish – “wish you were gay”

Some of the best relaxing music out there comes courtesy of the biggest stars in music, and Billie Eilish is no exception. She’s the kind of person that you can see relaxing and putting together sugar glider cage sets while bumping this track.

Pop music can be relaxing because the voice is recognizable and comfortable, and if it’s a laid back song it can be incredibly soothing. “wish you were gay” is one of the most stripped-down songs from her eclectic album When We All Go To Sleep Where Do We Go? and it’s incredibly relaxing.

If there’s a crowd and two was us, one slipped away” and other Billie Eilish quotes from this song are a wordplay on counting numbers that’s quite pleasing to the ears.
