Trace Adkins is really turning into the go-to country guy for western movies, and has a new one coming out this November.

In the new movie Badland, that takes place 10 years after the Civil War, Trace plays a Confederate war criminal named General Corbin Dandridge who is being hunted down by gunslinging detective Matthias Breecher, played by Kevin Makely. I was kind of excited when I watched the trailer because I thought it was Bradley Cooper starring in the movie. Seriously, Kevin Makely could play Bradley Cooper in a biography about the A Star is Born actor.

Seriously, tell me you don’t get Bradley Cooper vibes here.

Anyhoo, Badland also stars Bruce Dern (The Cowboys, Big Love), Mira Sorvino (Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion), Jeff Fahey (Justified, Lost), Tony Todd (Candyman), and James Russo (Black Mass, Django Unchained) and hits select theaters and VOD on November 1.
