Less than a week after a bus crash left one of his crew dead and several more injured, Josh Turner has taken to Facebook to address the tragedy.

“As I try to write this I don’t know what to say. It’s a struggle to put into words the devastation and grief that our road family is trying to process,” he wrote on Tuesday evening. “We lost a beloved member of our team, David Turner. He was like a brother to so many in this industry and a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Please continue to keep David’s family in your prayers.”

The singer also announced that a GoFundMe page has been set up by his management to help those affected by the crash.

Many of you have asked where you can support the guys and their families. My management company has created a GoFundMe page for our road family for anyone wishing to contribute.

Your prayers have been felt. Please keep praying.

Turner was not on the bus that crashed after a show in California last Thursday, September 19. David Turner, who passed away from his injuries, was Josh’s longtime sound engineer.

Yeah, this joke is sort of like that.
