Garth Brooks adds Knoxville, Tennessee to his stadium tour

Oh yeah, I almost forgot that Garth Brooks is still releasing his tour schedule one town at a time.

Do you suppose he does it this way to help build excitement for every stop or is it a logistics thing because his show is so massive?

Hmm.

Anyway, this morning Garth announced that his stadium tour will be stopping in Knoxville, Tennessee on Saturday, November 16th, 2019, 7:00 PM in Neyland Stadium. It’s the first concert at Neyland Stadium in 16 years.

It will be in-the-round staging with tickets going on sale Friday, September 13th at 10:00 AM EDT / 9:00 AM CDT. There will be an eight ticket limit per purchase. There are only 3 ways to purchase tickets: at ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks, on the Garth Brooks line at Ticketmaster at 1-877-654-2784, or through the Ticketmaster app on your phone. Please note there will be no ticket sales at the venue box office or Ticketmaster outlets on September 13th.

Tickets cost $94.95.

I was lucky enough to see Garth in Boise back in July, and my verdict is you really need to go to this show if you can. It’s amazing.

But what the Nashville on the Record franchise has done, elevating what the show has already mastered, is refocus the attention on traditional country music and the format’s talented and severely undervalued songwriters.

Reba performs a Christmas miracle

A lot has happened since Brooks & Dunn called it quits back in 2009. There was a midlife crisis, Ronnie laughed at fans hoping for a B&D reunion, the boys had a Facebook fight, Kix cleared the air about their Facebook fight, and then Ronnie went and got a record deal with Nash Icon recently. On top of all that, there were the persistent rumors that Ronnie and Kix didn’t care much for each other.
But alas there’s been a Christmas miracle! And it’s all thanks to Reba.
