What a pal!
Kelly Clarkson‘s new talk show premieres this month and her first guest was set to be Kevin Hart. Unfortunately, the actor and comedian was in a really bad car accident over the weekend and had surgery and, of course, wasn’t able to make it.
That’s when Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson came to the rescue.
Johnson and Hart are best buddies and so Johnson flew in from his Hawaiian honeymoon he’s currently on to take Hart’s place as The Kelly Clarkson Show‘s very first guest.
“Because Kevin couldn’t be here, one of his good friends stepped the heck up and I love him…because I got real nervous for my first show,” Kelly said in a video from the show.
After revealing The Rock as her mystery guest, she joked, “His wife probably hates me,” after he left his honeymoon to be on the show.
