Well the apple certainly didn’t fall far from this famous tree!
Allie Colleen, Garth Brooks‘ youngest daughter, is stretching her musical wings and has released her debut single called Work in Progress, a song she co-wrote with Marcus Hummon (Cowboy Take Me Away/Dixie Chicks, Jezebel/Chely Wright) and Greg Beick (Bring It On Home/Little Big Town).
Garth posted a rare picture of himself, Trisha Yearwood, and Allie to social media, praising his daughter and her gift.
“What a beautiful voice on your grandmother’s birthday…perfect. I love you!! Listen to @alliecolleenmusic’s new single #WorkInProgress,” he wrote on social media.
Garth’s lovely wife and Allie’s stepmom, Trisha Yearwood, shared the same picture, proudly writing, “From one work in progress to another, what a beautiful song and your voice sounds amazing! I love you so much, Allie #EveryGirl ? You got this, baby! ”
We’ve known for a long time that Allie was a talented singer and she had made her musical intentions clear in the past, but apparently Allie had promised her famous dad that she’d finish college before moving on to a music career, which she’s now done, and so now here we are.
