Blake Shelton releases acoustic version of ‘God’s Country’

How do you make a song like Blake Shelton‘s badass God’s Country even better than it already is?

Strip it down to the basics and do it acoustic.

On Friday, Blake released the stripped-down version of God’s Country, his fastest rising hit to date and his 26th (!) #1. With this song hitting the top of the charts, Blake’s now tied with George Strait and Alan Jackson for the most number one singles on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Only Tim McGraw with 29 and Kenny Chesney with 30 number ones are ahead of them.

Pretty damn cool.

Check out the newly released God’s Country and let me know what you think.
