And another Hollywood star is born!
Earlier this summer, it was revealed that Carrie Underwood would be getting her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and now we know when the official big day is.
And it’s soon. Really soon.
According to multiple reports as well as the official Walk of Fame Instagram page, the Cry Pretty singer will receive her star on September 20.
Underwood’s star will be the 2,646th on the world’s most famous Walk of Fame, with the unveiling ceremony taking place in front of Capitol Records at 11:30 a.m. Two men who have been a large part of her illustrious career – Simon Cowell (who received his own star back in August) and Brad Paisley – will be on hand to speak at the ceremony.
The star unveiling is part of a big week for Carrie. Less than a week before taking over the Walk of Fame, Carrie’s sixth studio album Cry Pretty will be released.
