Thomas Rhett is Headed to NBC’s “The Voice”

Exciting news, country fans! Kelly Clarkson has enlisted Thomas Rhett as her advisor for “Team Kelly” for the 15th season of NBC’s The Voice. The news was announced today by E Online.

Clarkson’s contestant, Brynn Cartelli, was last season’s big winner, but Clarkson has been very vocal in her desire to steal a country singer away from Blake Shelton. With Rhett on her side, this may be her chance to rise to victory in the battle for the country voices.

This isn’t the first time that Clarkson has had some country help on the show, having Cassadee Pope help her team during last season’s Battle Rounds.

Returning as coaches on this season of The Voice are Adam Levine, Shelton and Jennifer Hudson. The show premieres Monday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. on NBC.

Thomas Rhett is currently playing shows across the country, opening for Kenny Chesney, with upcoming shows in Nashville, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
