Last night was the annual CMT Music Awards, and among the many superstar performers were two gorgeous and talented ladies, Kelsea Ballerini and Kelly Clarkson.
Now, we have to admit, the minute Ballerini began her performance, we knew it would be one of our favorites — not just of the night, but of hers ever. It was simple, subdued, and focused on her array of talents, rather than on bells and whistles. Even her choice of wardrobe was casual, yet chic, and so perfectly her.
Well, it appears we weren’t wrong in boldly stating on Twitter that Ballerini might have stolen the show, because another woman in (occasional) country we adore, Clarkson, shared our sentiments. In fact, Clarkson loved what Ballerini dreamed up for this awards show so much that she also took to Twitter to commend her on her simply stated, yet tremendous appearance.
