New York-based country music singer-songwriter Jessica Lynn has been spending more time in Nashville, Tennessee lately, working with writers on Music Row to create new music. After her last couple of trips to the Country Music Capital of the World, Lynn realized she had her next musical gem in her hands and couldn’t wait to share her treasure with the world.
This coming Monday, June 25, will mark the date that Lynn goes public with “Let’s Don’t,” a song that is an ode to her husband and guitarist, Steve, and celebrates the downtime a couple in love shares. The track, which gives fans a glimpse at who Lynn is behind the scenes, talks about getting comfortable, kicking back, and simply spending time with the one who means the most.
Lynn shared the news of her single in a press release:
I am so excited to be releasing the new single this summer. The success of “Crazy Idea” was such a big moment in my life and I am really looking forward to seeing how “Let’s Don’t” is received.
The success to which Lynn refers was her debut on the country music charts this year. Her previous single, “Crazy Idea,” off her EP Look At Me That Way impressively peaked at No. 48.
