Garth Brooks Offers Beautiful Explanation as to His Low Concert Ticket Prices

Garth Brooks surprised CMA Fest goers yesterday, Saturday, June 9, when he made an appearance at the Fan Fair X Close Up Stage. Though his participation had only been announced days before the big event, thousands came out, packing Nashville’s Music City Center, in order to get a glimpse of the No. 1 selling solo artist in music history.

Though many hilarious, touching, and memorable moments happened during the hour we spent with Brooks, one thing the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year said stood out to us and we would be remiss not to share it with those who were unable to attend.

The topic of live music came up, as Brooks is potentially about to make a huge announcement regarding a next string of shows (keep your ears peeled on July 9!). This led to Brooks addressing the fact that he did everything in his power to keep his Garth Brooks World Tour ticket prices reasonable so everyone who wanted to attend had the opportunity to do so. In sharing his goal and that he put himself in the shoes of the general public to make pricing choices, Brooks simply, yet beautifully, explained, “What’s a concert without the people? Nothing. Be a fan first.”

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why we love Garth Brooks.

Thank you for being you and never changing, Garth.
