Jo Dee Messina Debuts Brand New Song in Concert; Receives Standing Ovation

We were already blown away by Jo Dee Messina’s world premiere of her brand new song, “Bigger Than This,” when she performed on TBN’s Huckabee. Now, Messina has added the powerful Christian meets Worship meets Gospel meets nothing like you’ve ever heard before tune to her concert set list.

Last weekend, Messina performed six shows during Walt Disney World’s annual Flower and Garden Festival’s Garden Rocks Concert Series. It was during the final show of night one when she threw a challenge out to her incredibly talented band members: take the short time between sets and make sure you know “Bigger Than This” because it may end up being added to the set. Like true professionals, the musicians fine-tuned their knowledge of the piece of incredible art and were prepared for the curve ball that their insanely talented boss was about to throw.

The result of the somewhat impromptu performance was magical, eliciting a standing ovation from the last crowd of the evening. Watch Messina blow the roof off the outdoor EPCOT stage below!

Jo Dee Messina’s “Bigger Than This” will be available on all digital retailers and streaming sites next Friday, May 4!
