“American Idol” reboot finally gets a premiere date

The new network home is in place, the judges and host are in place, and now the American Idol reboot’s premiere date is in place.

After months of planning, ABC has finally revealed the official premiere date for its American Idol revival. According to Deadline, the singing competition will premiere on March 11, 2018, and will air on Sundays at 8-10 PM EDT.

Ryan Seacrest, who is returning as the show’s host, announced the news on this morning’s Live With Kelly and Ryan.

All the auditions have concluded and Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie will be the new judges.
