Like many of us, Luke Bryan is waiting for his cell phone to light up in his new single, “Light It Up.” Bryan sings, “I wake up, I check it / I shower and I check it / I feel the buzz in my truck and I almost wreck it.” The single is the first release from Bryan’s forthcoming sixth album, due out later this year.
Co-written by Old Dominion’s Brad Tursi, “Light It Up” is the quintessential ode to love in the digital age. The track was co-produced by Jeff and Jody Stevens.
