Sara Evans Launches Born to Fly Records

Sara Evans was, indeed, born to fly. The five-time No. 1 singer has spread her wings and embarked on a new journey, launching “Born to Fly Records,” a company named after one of her signature songs. Evans shared the news in a press release this morning, explaining her venture:

I’m extremely excited to be launching this venture and I love that the label is “Born To Fly.” I wrote that song about my own life, coming to Nashville and following my dreams. It’s a dream come true to surround myself with my own team and truly embrace my entrepreneurial spirit, taking complete control of my career and brand is so freeing. I can’t wait to share this new project with everyone!

Born to Fly Records will be the home to Evans’ next album, a project due out this summer. Sony Red is on hand to distribute the record, which will serve as the followup to her 2014 No. 2 album, Slow Me Down.
