No. 1 artist and GRAMMY nominee, Kelsea Ballerini, is currently out on Thomas Rhett’s Home Team Tour. Over the weekend, Ballerini met a special little fan, Kyree, who has undergone multiple organ donations and continues to battle ongoing rejections.
While the two were able to meet during a backstage Meet & Greet, it was during Rhett’s set that Ballerini made a forever mark on Kyree’s heart. The little girl who had experienced a night filled with excitement had reached a point of exhaustion and had to be wheeled out to the lobby. Her mother began to administer medications, including painful insulin injections.

Overcome by tiredness, the sweet fan began to cry. Her mom turned away to sift through a medication bag, and when she looked back at Kyree, she found her child, no longer in tears, holding hands and talking about the concert with Ballerini. Though Ballerini had to leave to perform a song with the other artists on stage, she assured Kyree that she was so happy they met, giving Kyree what she deemed “the best moment of her night.”
