Social media is all the rage, and as the years tick on, it rages more and more. Truth be told, social media is the source of much of our news, entertainment, belly laughs, and frustrations, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. This reliance we place on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the like made us think about the artists who bring us the most joy (and occasionally pain) on the daily, and we wanted to share the list of those we think you need to immediately “like” or “follow” to get your new year started off with a bang!
(In alphabetical order by first name)
Any social media list would be amiss if it didn’t mention Brett Eldredge. From his Bedhead Jams on Snapchat to adorable photos of his pup Edgar to his 140-character Twitter hilarity, Brett is one of our faves to follow!

If you want to see mad support for other artists, hilarious one-liners, adorable pictures of a new puppy, and stellar and appropriate use of often overused Snapchat filters, Cass is the gal for you!
***BONUS*** Also follow her new puppy, Cuppy, on Instagram for countless laughs and warm fuzzies!

That tall guy from Lady Antebellum who put out a fantastic solo record last year is all kinds of great on social media. From hilarious tweets about being a new dad and life in general to adorable pics of his baby boy, Ward, Charles Kelley is a total DILF you should be following.

Chris Young ranges anywhere from extraordinarily generous to incredibly hilarious. Either way, we are glued to his social media accounts and can’t get enough of everything that appears in his feeds!

If you ever question whether artists have their hands on their social media accounts, check out Clay Walker’s. There is no doubt the iconic artist is in control of what gets posted; and nine times out of ten, it’s pure social media gold!

There are few people in the world as hilarious as Dave Barnes and Snapchat was basically made for him. It doesn’t matter if he’s writing with the likes of Kelsea Ballerini and Charles Kelley, posting videos of his kids or just using Snapchat filters to their fullest, Dave is a must follow for anyone with a sense of humor.
You can always count on Jason Isbell telling it like it is, and for that reason, he’s one of our favorites to use the Twitterverse. It also doesn’t hurt that he’s a super sweet dad and hubby, posting cute pics of his wife, Amanda Shires, and his adorable daughter.
I miss the days when twitter was all breakdancing cops and Bruce Willis doing ridiculous things

Perhaps the best word to describe Jennifer Nettles on social media is “random.” But good gracious, is her random hilarious! We sort of love her and everything that emerges from her fingertips.
I do not like juice. Any juice. And I know "It's so many greens & veggies & vitamins & blah blah blah". I don't like it. I like eating.

*Cue 4327 pics of y'all holding some sort of weird, green liquid that you "love" and is "healthy for you".

A hot husband, adorable kids, and no filter is what you will find on Jessie James Decker’s social media accounts. In fact, it’s this combination of things, plus Jessie’s rockin’ wardrobe and hysterical delivery of captions, that makes us avid social stalkers of this girl!

If you’re a fan of adorable kiddos, Kelly Clarkson’s social media is the place to be, as River Rose and Remy are the stars of KC’s social accounts. In addition to adorable pics, she’s not above embarrassing her kids, but also uses Facebook Live each month to interact with fans and perform a jaw-dropping live cover.

She’s Lauren; need we say more? If you want real, real funny, and real left field, you must follow her accounts. She doesn’t only take the “road less traveled” in her music, but in her social posts too — LOVE!

If you are looking for honesty, look no further than Maren Morris. The girl who has built her career on being a level-headed and clever artist takes those characteristics across social platforms and keeps us constantly intrigued!
I cannot stand people who are douchebags. Will y'all please smack me if I start to be an ass?
