Country music icon Randy Travis has made tremendous strides in his recovery from his stroke three years ago. Having spent a little time in the spotlight this year, the superstar is already planning a reemergence in 2017.
The Tennessean reports that on February 8, Travis will be honored by his fellow artists for a one-night show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. 1 Night. 1 Place. 1 Time: A Heroes & Friends Tribute to Randy Travis will feature performances by Alabama, Kenny Rogers, Rodney Atkins, Chris Janson, Jamey Johnson, Montgomery Gentry, Michael Ray, Ricky Skaggs, Michael W. Smith, The Randy Travis Band, Tanya Tucker, Josh Turner, and more. Artists are expected to perform a large variety of songs, including Travis’ hits.
