You might have heard the name LeDoux a time or two. Whether you are a classic country fan or grew up singing along to Garth Brooks’ “Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old),” the name “Chris LeDoux” has escaped your lips more times than you can count.
Today, a new LeDoux will be impacting your musical life, as the late great’s son, Ned LeDoux, is entering the world of music with the release of his debut EP, Forever a Cowboy, under Thirty Tigers.
Forever a Cowboy, produced by award-winning Mac McAnally, includes “We Ain’t Got It All,” the first new Chris LeDoux co-write (Ned and McAnally) in over two decades. The song has now become Ned’s personal favorite to sing on the road because it is the first original song he co-wrote with his Dad, serving as a tribute by picking up right where his Dad left off and carrying on the LeDoux sound to and from a new generation.
Ned exclusively told NashvilleGab about his EP, “I’m grinning from ear to ear about Forever a Cowboy. Very proud of the way it turned out. Putting cowboy back in country is what it’s all about.”
