We would be absolutely remiss if we didn’t celebrate Loretta Lynn during NashvilleGab’s Countdown to Christmas, especially considering this legend released a 2016 holiday album, White Christmas Blue.
Included on Lynn’s album is “Country Christmas,” a throwback to traditional country from the lyrics to the twangy keys and strings, to the iconic vocals. The song was originally recorded in 1966 as the title track for Lynn’s last holiday collection, but re-recorded fifty years later as part of the new project.
