“Lip Sync Battle” Goes Country This Wednesday

Several months ago we teased Cassadee Pope’s appearance on Lip Sync Battle, but her opponent was not publicly announced. Now, with a broadcast date of this Wednesday, December 21, word has emerged that No. 1 artist and recent tour mate, Dustin Lynch, will be going head-to-head with Pope.

Thanks to Pope’s Facebook page, we also now have the first glimpse at what we can expect from these two country chart-toppers, and from what we can see so far, at least half the battle is taking a little detour from the genre! Kelsea Ballerini Pops a Top

Kelsea Ballerini’s debut single “Love Me Like You Mean It” became the first Number 1 debut by a solo female since 2006 earlier this week, and the industry is rejoicing over the tremendous feat by the twenty-one year old singer-songwriter. While Kelsea could simply pat herself on the back for a job well done, that kind of person is the antithesis of the latest chart-topper.
