Nashville Songwriters Emily Shackleton & Liz Rose Pen Girl Scouts Song

Two Nashville songwriters teamed up to write the first ever original song for the Girl Scouts of the USA, and the organization could not have asked for a better pair.

Writer and lead singer on the track, “Watch Me Shine,” Emily Shackleton, and Grammy Award winner Liz Rose came together to lend music to a forthcoming Girl Scouts PSA, “I’m Prepared.” The track features the songwriters as vocalists, as well as Girl Scouts of the USA on background. A portion of the proceeds from all song purchases will be donated to the organization.
