Blake Shelton Reaches Out to Injured Fan

Blake Shelton

It’s stories like this that make me love country music and our biggest stars. Last month, Blake Shelton fan Jonathan Daniels wrote a post on Facebook that went viral. The Westchester, NY native was critically inured in a motorcycle accident, causing he and his girlfriend, Lindsay Baker, to miss Shelton’s concert in New York. The tickets had been a gift from Daniels to  Baker for her 23rd birthday.

This week, the couple was in for a huge surprise when they got a personalized video message from Blake Shelton. In the video, Blake wished Jonathan the best and a happy holidays. He also promised the pair tickets to any show in 2017 that they can get to, in addition to meet and greet passes.

Jonathan wrote on Facebook, “So this happened today, I am beyond grateful to everyone who has helped us share this and get it to Blake!! He is an amazing man with a huge heart! Thank you everyone!!! #teambug”

So much respect for Blake. He is always helping people. Chris Janson and Cassadee Pope just recently talking about how he quietly changes lives and takes no credit. Swon Brothers mentioned it too. And he’s so funny. Adam Levine said he doesn’t change at all when the cameras turn off. That’s the type of person you feel good about supporting. Glad he and Sundance won The Voice last night. The Blake skits were so funny.
