While (spoiler alert!) Billy Gilman may not have been crowned the winner of Season 11 of NBC’s The Voice, he did show off his stunning vocals during last night’s finale. Paired with the OG American Idol, Kelly Clarkson, Gilman lent his voice to “It’s Quiet Uptown,” a track from the musical Hamilton. Clarkson’s solo version of the song appears on the current Billboard chart-topper The Hamilton Mixtape.

Dressed in all black and surrounded by ethereal clouds and a string section, the pair trade voices on the soaring and emotional duet.
