Miranda Lambert Enters New Relationship

It’s full speed ahead for Miranda Lambert!

Just as fans were beginning to get antsy with anticipation, waiting for news of something fresh from their favorite edgy singer-songwriter, Lambert responded in a big way. First, she released the critically acclaimed “Vice.” Then, she announced that her new album, The Weight of These Wings, would contain two discs and twenty-four songs. Now, the country music superstar is adding a bit more weight to her widespread wings.

Chairman and CEO of Sony Music Nashville, Randy Goodman, shared in a press release that Lambert’s longtime record label has entered into a new relationship with their award-winning songstress, helping her create her own subsidiary label, Vanner Records.

Re-signing Miranda to Sony Music Nashville and helping her create Vanner Records has been absolutely one of the highlights of my 15 months at Sony Music Nashville. Miranda as an artist represents everything we want to be as a record company and her energy and vision will help drive us forward as well.

The Weight of These Wings, scheduled for a November 18 release, will be the first offering under Vanner.

Congratulations to Miranda Lambert and Sony Music Nashville on this new partnership! We can’t wait to see what else comes of Vanner under Lambert’s lead.
