Welcome Home Lindsay Ell!

Canadian-born singer-songwriter-musician Lindsay Ell has been based in Nashville for several years, recording under Stoney Creek Records (Broken Bow Records) and touring the world with her fellow artists. In fact, Ell has become such a staple in country music that we often forget that one of our favorite talents actually hails from Calgary, Alberta.

Though you may not be able to take the Canadian out of this girl, Ell is officially out of Canada, having just received her green card and making her an official resident of the United States of America. The guitar prodigy took to social media today to express her excitement about the life-changing piece of mail that declared her an American once and for all:

Congratulations to Lindsay Ell! Our country is a better place with you as a proud citizen!
