Blake Shelton Has Joined a Very Exclusive List of Artists…

Selling albums in a digital world isn’t nearly as easy as it once was, but Blake Shelton has defied odds and reached an amazing career milestone.

While in Brooklyn, New York over the weekend, Music Row reports Shelton was surprised with an RIAA plaque commemorating ten million albums sold. On hand to help Shelton celebrate the feat were Warner Music Nashville executives and members of the RIAA. With this accomplishment, Shelton becomes one of only five male country artists to receive this honor in the last fifteen years.

Congratulations to Blake Shelton! Here’s to ten million more!
