Okay, this one is surprising. Apparently the boys of Rascal Flatts have never gotten around to recording a Christmas album … until now.

The CMA Awards Vocal Group of The Year nominee will release The Greatest Gift of All, their first-ever Christmas album, on October 21.

The 10 tracks include: Joy To The World, O Holy Night, Deck The Halls, A Strange Way To Save The World, Go Tell It On The Mountain, Let It Snow, Silent Night,  Someday At Christmas, The First Noel, and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing

Another Christmas album newby this year is Chris Young who is set to release his first-ever Christmas album, It Must Be Christmas, on October 14.

“This is something I’ve wanted to do for a really long time,” Young said in a press release. “Christmas is one of my favorite times of year and it was hard to narrow down the list of songs for this record. I’m excited to share my own versions of many of the standards I sang as a kid every year at Christmas, plus I had the opportunity to write a couple of original songs to celebrate the season.”
