Jason Michael Carroll’s father’s obituary and funeral arrangements released

As mentioned yesterday, Jason Michael Carroll‘s father, Jamespassed away Tuesday after undergoing emergency surgery for an abdominal aneurysm last week. Yesterday, the singer announced on Facebook plans for his father’s funeral in North Carolina.

Also, as I like to do, I found James’ obituary for anyone who is interested in learning more about his life.

James P. Carroll, 62, passed away Tuesday evening at WakeMed. He was born in Washington County, Texas the son of Christina Saavedra and the late James Ray Carroll.

A funeral service will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday morning October 1, 2016 at Faith Baptist Church in Youngsville with Rev. Wes Bailey officiating.

Mr. Carroll is survived by his wife; Kimberly Adams Carroll, his children; Jason Michael Carroll and wife Wendy, Jonathan Wayne Carroll and wife Elizabeth, Jamie Lynn-Carroll Philibert and husband Derrick, Forest Dean Casey and Gabrielle Dawn Casey, mother; Christina Saavedra Carroll, brothers; Billy Ray Hood, Michael Hood and Paul Hood, half brother; Chris Carroll, half sister; Michelle Hood Clevinger, grandchildren; Gavin Michael Carroll, Savanna Nicole Carroll, Stori Paige Carroll, Jason Weldon Carroll, Phoenix Rain Philibert, Samatha Kelsey Carroll, Jonathan Titus Carroll and Jayden James Philibert.

Friends may visit with the family from 7-9 Friday evening September 30, 2016 at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center 405 South Main St. Wake Forest, NC 27587.
