Songs I’m digging right now: The Church Sisters, ‘7 Years’

One of my favorite non-country songs right now is Lukas Graham’s 7 Years, so imagine how excited I was when I discovered a young country duo has released their own take on the song.

The Valory Music Co. recently revealed that they had added fraternal twins Savannah and Sarah Church, or The Church Sisters as they’re known professionally, to its artist roster. To introduce themselves to the public, the talented 20-year-old Virginia natives have released their cover of Graham’s massive hit.

And it’s as amazing as the original.

“It is a dream come true getting signed to The Valory Music Co.,” Sarah Church said in a release. “We are thrilled to be working with Scott Borchetta and one of the best labels in Nashville. We will continue to pour our hearts and souls into the music we make with Julian Raymond, and we look forward to seeing where this journey takes us.”

The pair are currently working on their debut album. You can follow the gals on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Full press release on the next page.

Love the Church Sisters. Such beautiful voices and so pretty!!! Caught them on a local appearance at the Lincoln Theater in Marion, VA – if I remember right. Been trying to keep up with them. Would love to see them in concert. I live about 15 minutes from the town where they were born.
