Carrie Underwood Gets a Gold Medal In Promise Keeping


When asked who Olympic Gold and Silver medalist Madison Kocian most wanted to meet following her successful Rio run, the nineteen-year-old Texan didn’t have to think twice. “Carrie Underwood!”

After the gymnast tweeted to her idol, Underwood replied with a special invitation to Kocian to be her guest at The Storyteller Tour. And Underwood made good on that promise. Earlier this week, while the tour stopped in Kocian’s hometown of Dallas, Texas the two were able to meet face-to-face and even do a little bonding over a new accessory the athlete brought along.
